CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS, 1989 - 1996
From 1989 to 1996, Patrick was a full-time staff member of EE Product News, a monthly electronics industry new product magazine with an international circulation of 112,000. EEPN was at that time published by Intertec Publishing Corporation, and was located in White Plains, New York.

In his capacity as Information Systems Manager, Pat worked directly with the magazine’s publisher and marketing and sales professionals to re-position the magazine, launch its European edition, and to plan, design and execute marketing strategy, campaigns and collateral.

On a small in-house staff of just seven individuals, he directed the activities of two direct reports, assuming responsibility for the timely completion of their duties, which included sales support, design and layout of magazine pages and marketing collateral, the creation and implementation of an extensive database system, and the launch of a new advertising section.

During the course of his seven years with EEPN, Pat also wrote 250 reviews of new OEM products, covered trade shows and related events, and had extensive contact with electronics industry executives and marketing personnel.
